Making Photovoltaic Cells at D.C. Everest

As was/is the case with most students,  these three students who made photovoltaic cells at DCE didn't have an idea what to do for their project.  Having an interest in many areas, there were so many possibilities.  Finally, they decided to try to make some photovoltaics from silicon wafers.  Not only did they make functioning fuel cells, but these sophomores presented their work at an undergraduate poster session at the ACS Convention held in Milwaukee on June 2, 1998.  Check out the story and the pages on one of the student's web page, it's link showed below.
